The 39-year-old LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are allegedly in contract extension negotiations that could see the all-time scoring leader under contract until his 24th season in the NBA.

The current negotiations are alleged to be for a three-year deal for James who, in his 21st year in the league, is averaging 25.3 points, 7 rebounds and 7.9 assists on splits of 52.7% from the field and 40.8% from beyond the arc.

The workload for King James still seems to be around his regular standards and his production is only down slightly. The Lakers currently find themselves in the play-in and in need of commitment from James, with the lack of youth and draft picks for the future.

After seeing his Texas teammate AD Mitchell run a great 40-yard dash time of 4.34 seconds, Xavier Worthy decided to one-up him and run a near record-breaking 40-yard dash time of 4.25 seconds in his first attempt. After his first attempt, the Texas Longhorn wide receiver decided to go for the record, which paid off heavily.

Worthy would see his name in the record book this weekend after a great performance at this year's combine, where he ran a record 4.21-second 40-yard dash. Worthy’s performance eclipsed the record that was previously held by former Washington Husky wide receiver John Ross by a narrow .01 seconds.
