No. 7 Indiana Stuns No. 3 Oregon in Instant Classic

It was a Saturday showdown for the ages as the No. 7 Indiana Hoosiers pulled off a thrilling upset over the No. 3 Oregon Ducks, winning 30-20 on the road in Eugene. The matchup featured two of college football’s brightest stars and Heisman hopefuls - Indiana’s Fernando Mendoza and Oregon’s Dante Moore.
At the start of the fourth quarter, Oregon was down 7, but a Brandon Finley Jr. pick-six tied the game at 20-20. Following the pick six, Mendoza bounced back, connecting with star wide receiver Elijah Sarratt for a touchdown to put them up 27-20. Unfortunately for the Ducks, Moore would throw two interceptions in three plays, practically handing the Hoosiers the win.
Next up, Indiana hosts Michigan State in Bloomington – a matchup with deep rivalry roots as the two compete for in-state dominance. The Ducks hit the road to take on Rutgers in Piscataway, where Oregon must guard against a physical Big Ten team looking to boost its profile.
