Christmas is already around the corner! Can you believe? It’s that time of year again for iHeartMedia’s annual concert tour. A favorite among fandoms all over, WHTZ-FM’s (Z100) ‘Jingle Ball’ will once again hit New York City’s Madison Square Garden, on December 13. And the lineup is jam-packed with big names!
Talented pop acts such as Halsey, Taylor Swift Niall Horran and the Jonas Brothers will be some of the many that will be taking the stage. In award shows, you’d see these artists winning awards and even performing. There wasn’t a radio station in site that did not play their music every fifteen minutes.
2019 was the year the Jonas Brothers got back together and scored their first number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, with their electrifying single “Sucker”.
Sadly, this might be the only chance that the NYC area will get to hear “Lover” live as Taylor Swift is not bringing her LoverFest mini tour to the area but she will be performing some hits from it. “Lover” was the biggest debut this year selling around 800,000 units during its first week which is an impressive feat.
Halsey is slated to perform at only 5 of the eleven scheduled tour dates.
After a quiet most of the year, Niall Horran is back with his new single “Nice To Meet Ya” and will be performing that single with hopefully more new music.
Wondering what other artists will be taking the stage? Lizzo, Camila Cabello, Dan & Shay, Lewis Capaldi, Fletcher, and K-Pop group Monsta X.
The radio station is also holding a free pre-show at Pier 36 earlier in the day 11am-5pm with Why Don’t We, Louis Tomlinson, Lauv, AJ Mitchell, Quinn XCII, Spencer Sutherland, Lennon Stella and Elle Winter.
