BREAKING: Official NYC COVID Cluster Zones
Mayor de Blasio, working with Governor Andrew Cuomo to get final approval, has announced that the state's COVID cluster zone restrictions will go into effect TOMORROW (Thursday, October 8).

Red Zone Restrictions:
- Houses of worship are at 25% capacity, 10 people maximum
- Mass gatherings prohibited
- Non-essential businesses CLOSED
- Takeout dining only
- Schools closed
Orange Zone Restrictions:
- Houses of worship are at 33% capacity, 25 people maximum
- Mass gatherings are at 10 people maximum, indoor and outdoor
- High risk non-essential business such as gyms and personal care CLOSED
- Outdoor dining only with 4 people max per table
- Schools are remote learning only
Yellow Zone Restrictions:
- Houses of worship are at 50% capacity
- Mass gatherings are at 25 people maximum, indoor and outdoor
- Businesses are OPEN
- Indoor and outdoor dining
- Schools need mandatory weekly testing of students/teachers/staff for in-person classes
